Before mounting Gracieux Hangboard

Before mounting the Gracieux Hangboard to the wall inspect the hangboard for any potential damage. If any visible damages or cracks are present do not mount or use the hangboard under any circumstance and contact us immediately.

If you are unsure about the condition of the hangboard or how to mount it properly, follow the instruction manual or contact us immediately. Do not attempt installation without the proper skills. Always ensure mounting is done by a qualified and experienced professional.

What you need for mounting Gracieux Hangboard

• A drilling machine or similar device mounted with the proper bits.
• (32"x 9.5" x 0.75") plywood mounting board.
• Screws: 9 pcs x 3” (for Backboard installation)
• Level and Tape measure

Choose The proper location

Choose your training location wisely. A warm, well-lit, and inviting space will keep you more motivated than a cold garage or dark basement. Create a positive environment with warmth, light, music—whatever helps you stay consistent.

Mounting above a doorway is the easiest option. Solid brick or block walls work best, but plasterwall can be used with proper support. Ideally, fix a 32" × 9.5" × 0.75" plywood backboard to the wall, then attach the hangboard to it. The plywood can be painted (optional) for a cleaner look.

Handling the hangboard

Our climbing hangboards are made from carefully selected natural materials. When handled and installed correctly, they are highly durable and longer-lasting than many plastic hangboards.

• Do not throw boxes loaded with the hangboards
• Do not drop the hangboards on a hard surface.
• Always use the correct screws and/or bolts in every available mounting hole.
• Tighten holds firmly to the wall, but do not over-tighten.
• Double-check the hangboard is securely and correctly fixed before climbing.
• Perform regular safety inspections after installation.
• If any hangboard shows signs of damage, remove and discard it immediately.
